Hybrid Glitch - A fantastic metal band from Lafayette, Indiana. I went to school with lead singer Scott, and I always knew he had it in him. Such talent. Hybrid Glitch has performed with Sevendust, Saliva and other famous talent. They perform frequently, and although based here in Lafayette, they travel the country for shows. I HIGHLY recommend that you catch a show if possible. Check out some of the music on their MySpace page.

Voodoo Spell On You

I watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry earlier today, and I wasn't disappointed at all. Of course it was no Happy Gilmore with the usual comedic Sandler style, but funny nonetheless. Adam and Kevin James were both excellent in it. So in honor of a good movie, I am posting my favorite song on Adam Sandler's album What's Your Name. Click on play and Enjoy!

But she HAD a clue!

So I've heard this song on the radio before, liked it, but never put much thought into it. Then, my old friend Mandy tells me I MUST download it and listen. So of course I did, and knowing me, I pay more attention to the lyrics than the sound. And wow, deja vu! Seems like I've heard these somewhere else. Oh wait, I HAVE. Been there, done that, wish I never had to deal with it.

Yeah, whatever. She HAD a clue alright, and my phone number! In case you have no idea what song I'm talking about, it's "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder. Seems they put my whole life into one song - Damn them! So of course I have to get the album and love all of the songs.

Shine a little light

It's not often I recommend a song to anyone... usually my taste doesn't mesh well with others. BUT, for the last few months I've been listening to a song that I think is absolutely fantastic! I can't believe I never heard it before recently. It was released in 2004. Anyway... The band is Syntax and the song is Pride. LOVE IT! Buy it, download it... do whatever it is you do to hear something. Unfortunately these 2 guys aren't performing together anymore. They were more of an electronic type genre, and if you know me, well.. you're shocked I like them. But hey, you can't say I'm not eclectic! So go ahead... shine a little light.
