6 Months Post-Op
...and 130 lbs gone forever. What an amazing year this has been. Awesome family, great friends, excellent travels! I've done more traveling this past year than I have in my life. Next trip is in April 2008. Flying in to San Diego, and going on a cruise to Mexico with my best friends! Christmas fever has started too. Went out on black Friday and spent a LOT of money, but got some excellent gifts at even better prices! Life is good :)Labels: Vacation, Weight Loss

Daughtry - Over You
Well I never saw it coming
I should have started running
A long, long time ago!
And I never thought I`d doubt you
I`m better off without you
More than you, more than you know

Pain sucks ass
My friggin' shoulder hurts! For a few years now, I've often had a terrible burning pain on the inside of my left shoulder blade. It usually only acted up when I was driving, or doing something stupid. But for the past few weeks, it's non-stop pain. I've tried heat, ice, muscle relaxers, ibuprofen, lortab and percocet with absolutely no relief! Of course I can't get a hold of my doctor because she only works 2 days a week, and when she is there, she's busier than hell. What to do?!?! Egads! I think I need my shoulder whacked off.Labels: AnnoyingLizard

Cabo San Lucas is in for it
Woohoo! We're going on a cruise to Mexico! Our first ever! Me, Becky, Jolene, Rita and Carol have scheduled it and we are gonna rock it! It's not until April, but by then, Becky, Jolene and I will be almost a year out, and we are gonna be smokin'! There's nothing better than being able to go to Mexico with your best friends!

Check out...
Hybrid Glitch - A fantastic metal band from Lafayette, Indiana. I went to school with lead singer Scott, and I always knew he had it in him. Such talent. Hybrid Glitch has performed with Sevendust, Saliva and other famous talent. They perform frequently, and although based here in Lafayette, they travel the country for shows. I HIGHLY recommend that you catch a show if possible. Check out some of the music on their MySpace page.

I'm all out of blood, I'm so lost without you...
A little Air Supply moment there :) I had my first official blood draw a couple days ago for my surgeon. They took 14 vials of blood! 14!!! As the tech was doing it, she said "I hope you ate something before you came." LOL Of course I didn't because I had to be fasting. I won't know the results until my appointment with Dr. Inman on December 21, or unless something is wrong and I get a phone call. I actually expect one because me and vitamins do not mix well. Ugh! But I've been doing better with them these last few weeks. As of this morning I am down 124 lbs! Woohoo!Labels: AnnoyingLizard
