Shine a little light

It's not often I recommend a song to anyone... usually my taste doesn't mesh well with others. BUT, for the last few months I've been listening to a song that I think is absolutely fantastic! I can't believe I never heard it before recently. It was released in 2004. Anyway... The band is Syntax and the song is Pride. LOVE IT! Buy it, download it... do whatever it is you do to hear something. Unfortunately these 2 guys aren't performing together anymore. They were more of an electronic type genre, and if you know me, well.. you're shocked I like them. But hey, you can't say I'm not eclectic! So go ahead... shine a little light.

Recovering Lizard

Yes Yes, I'm still alive... thanks for all the emails. I've been recovering from arm/wrist/palm surgery. All in one shot I had carpal tunnel release, DeQuervain's release, and ulnar nerve transposition. Staples and stitches from armpit to palm. Thankfully they are all out now, but let me tell ya... it was hell. Thank God for percocet. I had absolutely no use of my left arm. Even now, 3 weeks later I'm still trying to master turning a door knob. Getting strength back has been the big challenge. I am definitely not looking forward to having the right arm done! But I am looking forward to seeing Dr. Torok again. He's definitely a stud... dimples and all. That's him in the picture. So, that's my story and I'm stickin to it! Until next time...
